Jeff Callister
Founder & President
Jeff brings 35 + years of experience in the medical device industry, with deep expertise in implantable device/ catheter development, intellectual property strategy, company formation/ growth, and regulatory execution guiding companies into U.S. clinical trials. He has successfully founded, led, and exited multiple medical device startups, including Progressive Angioplasty Systems (acquired by U.S. Surgical) and Ovion (acquired by American Medical Systems). Jeff also co-founded Serenity Medical, which developed the River Stent™, an FDA approved Class III device for venous sinus stenting.

Pierre Gobin
Founder, Director of Regulatory & Clinical Affairs
Pierre Gobin, MD, is an interventional neuroradiologist with 30+ years of experience. Dr. Gobin previously co-founded Concentric Medical, which invented the modern treatment of ischemic stroke by percutaneous embolectomy. He also co-founded Lazarus Effect, another ischemic stroke device company, and Serenity Medical alongside Jeff Callister.

Chris Taylor
Chief Financial Officer
Chris is a seasoned finance professional with a 25+ year career in finance, accounting, and corporate development with a track record of success in the medical device industry. He has served as CFO for several small business organizations, contributing to their financial stability and strategic development. He’s helped secure millions in equity and debt capital, scaled finance and accounting functions, and established cash and risk management capabilities.

Jake Jaeger is RheoNexa’s Director of R&D, helping lead a cross-functional team in the development and commercialization of RheoNexa’s device portfolio. With more than a decade of experience in developing complex delivery systems, implantable technologies, and providing technical leadership across medical device companies and contract manufacturers, he brings a creative, innovation-driven approach to solving clinical challenges. Jake holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering.

RIley Vaughan
Operations Manager
As Operations Manager, Riley Vaughan works to ensure the development of safe, compliant, and effective medical devices while meeting project budget and schedule goals. She has consulted for various medical device startups across all stages of development, supporting DHF creation, risk management, process development, design verification and validation, and human factors evaluation. Riley earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering.

RYAN BAUER
Technical Advisor
Ryan Bauer has over 20 years of experience developing technology and products in the medical device industry across a range of applications including cardiac stimulation, neurological sensing and stimulation, structural heart, and powered orthotics. Ryan leverages his extensive experience in device design, prototype development, bench testing, and preclinical work. Ryan holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
